Syrian men’s experiences of integration and employment in Canada
This 12-minute video presents the experiences of three Syrian men, and their struggle for not having their professional degrees and work experience recognized in Canada.
In November 2023, the Government of BC introduced legislation to help reduce barriers across 29 professions and make it easier for professional newcomers to get their credentials and experience recognized, regardless of where people are trained.
